Dr. Wallenborn was not friendly nor helpful. I feel like my appointment was pointless, especially since he acted as if there was nothing wrong with me. None of my questions were answered correctly, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. He started digging down in my tonsils without even asking how bad my gag reflex is (and trust me, it's bad). So when he started messing in my tonsil crypt, I gagged, he stabbed me with his pick, and I vomited. Then he acted as if it didn't happen. Of course, I didn't expect him to clean it up or anything, but directing me to a trash can or even an apology would have been nice.

This is the worst of doctors. He has terrible bedside manner & was not interested in helping me for what ever reason. I felt like I was bothering him just being in his office. When I told him I was in pain he literally told me he didn't care. Then he said all I can tell you is to rinse your sinuses with baby shampoo. Now here I am, years later, with severe infection in all my sinuses requiring major surgery including bone scraping because this guy didn't care enough to investigate a little further. Enough said.

My daughter (almost 3) was deaf due to ear infections. We DID NOT know this as she was very communicative.
The pediatric group I'd been going to chronically dosed her with antibiotics, though i kept complaining that I did not feel she was sick.
Turns out her Mom was right. My daughter had enlarged adenoids and the infections affected her ears/ hearing.
Finally I took her to Dr. Wallenborn who rushed her into surgery the very next morning.
We had no time to panic.
The staff was very helpful and loving. In 24 HOURS my daughter came home complaining about how "loud" the world is!! Still makes me cry.
She is now almost 7 and has perfect hearing.
I was told that If the infections had gone on any longer, there would have been permanent damage to her hearing,but Dr. Wallenborn saved her from a silent world.
We are so grateful that we called Dr. Wallenborn who not only stepped in, he LEAPED.
Dr Wallenborn and his staff always make sure every single question we ask is answered, and are always available if we think of more questions.
They are warm and professional; what a gift!
The office is very easy to locate, no trouble finding it at all.
We will absolutely return. They are by far the best ENT Team I've ever encountered. Thank you WNC Ear, Nose, & Throat.
You changed our lives; we will always be grateful for you.
