Dr. Adele Haber ruined my life. I contracted COVID in February 2020 and Long COVID soon after. The virus wreaked havoc in my body, leaving me with loss of taste and smell, disordered eating, and fecally incontinent, just to name a few physical symptoms. Nonetheless, Dr. Haber did not see evidence that the virus DIRECTLY caused any cognitive issues, and she SUSPECTS that all of my problems are due to preexisting depression, bad habits of my own doing, and being kind of overwhelmed by this scary time and scary virus. She has not read any medical literature, any research literature, about neuro-PASC, but don't worry! She has a chat group that discusses it.
After Dr. Haber's evaluation that I could indeed go back to work, when I actually couldn't, I lost my job and health insurance. Now I'm priced out of Boston and am losing housing.
Keep shopping. Don't let Dr. Haber ruin your life too.
