Excellent Doctor for pain management. Very personable, understanding and outstanding medical knowledge. I’ve had to deal with pain for most of my adult life and I am now 65. I had to go on pain management program 24 years ago. Dr. Kamyar Cohanshohet Beverly Hills Pain Cohanshohet became my pain management doctor after I moved to Southern California over 12 years ago. I highly recommended Dr. Kamyar Cohanshohet.

Dr. Cohanshohet is attentive and considerate. I had surgery which resulted in serious pain due to nerve damage and bone cutting. The healing process has been slow and painful. I have tried 2 other "pain management specialists" who were insensitive and completely lacking in compassion. Not so with this doctor. He really seems to understand and care.

No Free Phone Consult as Advertised, waited 3 days for call back which never came. Very rudely treated by receptionist when I called to find out what happened.

Could not get the Dr to speak with me at all concerning my pain. The receptionist said he had decided he could not help me because I had asked a question about the madatory drug testing now routinely being ordered at patients cost.

This Dr. is not at all empathetic and his staff are the rudest I have ever run across. If you want an appointment do not discuss anything with the recptionist.

Dr K is great, thorough, and really listens. Cares very much about the cause of pain and discusses different options for treating it.

Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. They were friendly and made me feel like a part of the family. I felt comfortable the instant I walked in. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs.
