Do not trust the information provided by the staff of this facility and their three offices. Misinformed staff lie and then try to cover it up, the misinformation resulted in a a $7000 bill. Never mind the impact on mental health It is expected in this day and age for staff to care --- to take the time to verify the information they provide.

Now, $7,000 out, they apologize, ooops, sorry, nothing we can do. STAY AWAY!!

I have been under the care of this facility close to one year. I was being treated and under the care of Susan Mcternan NP and Anita Sreedhar L.C.S.W. I missed 3 appointments over a 11 month period and they called me 3 hours before my appointment that day to inform me my case was closed. They gave me no explanation. Long story short they left me with no medication and I became very ill.
I had to go to the ER who gave me meds until I found a new provider. I highly suggest you do not go for treatment of any kind with Carmel Psychological Associates!!!

I didn't feel safe in their care at all. I didn't trust their motives. They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all. They had a few different appointment times available but none were perfect for my schedule. I had to wait a while after I arrived for my appointment. The staff didn't even keep me updated about how much longer it would be. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left.

They have "staff" treating patients who aren't even listed on their website, obviously people who are freelancing. Every "therapist" should be listed so that anyone seeking treatment at this facility can run a background check/reviews that other patients have shared.

This facility accentuates the statement, "it's business, not personal" and, given the emotional/mental issues that so many people have, there should be better resources available than this facility.

This place is horrible. I have been here once in the past, and I gave it a shot again today and it still stinks. You call in to make an appointment. They make you speak to the director first, before you can come in. The director doesn't care about you or why you are going there. They just randomly assign you someone without finding out why you are going there. Some people prefer a male therapist, some people prefer a female, some people have issues they want to discuss and these people just don't care. This time I was referred to see a specific person by a Psychologist I use, and they would not let me see that person. They told me I HAD to speak to the director first. This place stinks. Avoid it at all costs. Find a private Psychologist or Psychiatrist who takes your insurance.
