These people are angels of death. They euthanized my father as if they were putting down a dog. He was admitted for euphemistic "comfort care" to receive a higher dose of pain medication than could be given in the hospital. In reality, they sedated him to an unconscious state until he died.
The staff is cold and uncaring and didn't show empathy for my situation. They wanted to "mind read" when my father was in pain as an excuse to medicate him more. For instance, because my father had his hand placed on his chest, they wanted to take that as an indication that he was grabbing his chest in pain. His hand was limp because they had sedated him so heavily, but they wanted to give him more. They wanted to take away his food and water which is unethical and nothing short of murder, a la, Kevorkian style.

It seemed like having the family there got under the skin and we just got in their way. Everything seemed to happen when we were not there. Supposedly my dad was agitated and shouting in the middle of the night when his voice had been a mere whisper all day as he drifted in and out of consciousness.

Has is ever occurred to anyone that people going into hospice almost predictably dies three days later. Wow, does God really take that many people away exactly three days after hospice admission. That's odd.

Beware of euphemistic terms of "comfort care" and "palliative sedation." These are the modern day death camps. Maybe some hospice centers medicate only enough to genuinely relieve pain but not these people. Stay clear of this center unless you want your loved one put down like a dog.
