I have a family member in place and though the building has undergone management changes, some are for the better the staff is more attentive and there is oddly enough a management team member the ADON AND DON are usually in the building late in the evening and many weekends. You can really tell they are attempting to make the building better. The building is old and can use some renovations but there are many positive changes. I am looking forward to see the future they create.

I was recently discharged from River Pointe and I have to say it was a pretty awesome experience. I have 15 years of nursing experience of my own. My first night there I met a great nurse named Mary and she made me feel very welcomed and was so nice. Each nurse I had was always happy and smiling. No one really wants to be in a rehab facility and the staff made me happy and laugh when I was feeling down at times. I had a wound that was kept nice and clean by several nurses, but Tracey the wound care nurse got my wound to close and I can't say how much I appreciate that. I could list so many staff members that were very professionally and made my experience a good one. The DON Shannon is awesome! She took time to really listen to me and I could tell she really cared about me as an individual not just another patient. I would recommend River Pointe to anyone who is needing rehab and definitely recommend for wound care. I hope I don't need to go back, but if I do I would go back there.

Definitely! I was shocked and horrified!

Definitely not. They were unaware of my situation, even though they had my information

I was disappointed that their staff didn't seem to respect them very much. They weren't disrespectful but I could tell they didn't have a very good relationship. Their equipment appeared to be old and out of date. I wouldn't trust them to care for my loved one after I saw first hand how unsafe their facility is. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. I was never able to relax during my appointment. I was on edge the whole time.
