Delivering my first and only (according to Dr.Gunn, I don't need to have anymore because of a misshapen uterus and he informed me of this moments after delivery my first) child was the absolute worst experience of my life. Not because of my child, but because of the process. I spent two and a half weeks in the hospital, delivered a preemie, got a shot to "stimulate lung development" for my child, was told my kidneys shut down and laid in the bed like that for two weeks. Was informed that a baby is "mama's baby, daddy's maybe". I never had a insulin test, I had one ultrasound, I was NEVER informed of protein levels...

He has NO bedside manner, his waiting room is consistently full and overlong waits. He started my labor at with Pitocin 7 pm, then decided to stop it and resume it the next morning. When I asked the nurses why, they responded (literally) with the fact that "[he] needed to go home to rest and come back in the morning to deliver your baby." Seriously, saver yourself some grief.

They are an absolute expert in the field.Dr. Michael C. Gunn delivered two of my 3 children and if I hadn't left the city he would have delivered all three! I never felt apprehensive in their care. They always returned my phone calls quickly and answered even the "silliest" of questions with patience and grace. The staff was friendly, competent and handled delays, or occasional overbooking well. I was always given a polite greeting when I walked in. They knew who I was and I was always treated with kindness and respect. They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times.

Dr. Gunn is completely incompetent. He has terrible bedside manners--he is rude, condescending and extremely arrogant. My pelvic and breast exams were a nightmare--he was so rough with his hands that I burst into tears and told him to stop. But he didn't stop, and proceeded to insult me for being too sensitive. I felt like Afterward, I felt like I had just been sexually violated.

This Dr. should be investigated. I do not think any legitimate, board-certified, licensed OB-GYNS are THAT incompetent.
