Cindy the receptionist absolutely rude right off the get-go can't believe she still has a job here after all the bad reviews will never go to this place never

Their staff was not nice or proffessional in the least; I Tried to schedule a follow up appointment and the office manager Cindy was extremely rude. She wanted information that was irrelevant to the patient. She said if I didn't drive down and give her proof of insurance that she would not schedule an appointment. She told me to go see someone else and she hung up on me. Very poor customer service. I have excellent instance and it is customary to give insurance cards at the time of your appt. Cindy is a very bad office manager and the doctor should fire her before he loses anymore patients.

In my 50-years on this planet I have never been treated so rudely by a Doctors staff, EVER. Cindy –The Manager- invited me into the exam room and then asked me a series of normal questions before I was supposed to see Dr. Wayman for my ear infection that will not go away and my enlarged tonsils.

Cindy was extremely frustrated, visibly annoyed, I asked if she was ok? She replied that “My Insurance” Jackson County Health, hardly never approves a Tonsillectomy. That my primary care taker did not supply the amount of needed information to asses my eligibility and that SHE has to do all the work when in the end it will be denied. She also stated that it is extremely evasive and painful – a Tonsillectomy- “as if she was trying to talk me out of it- not considering I can hardly breath and my tonsils are the size of golf balls.

I asked if the doctor uses laser to remove tonsils and she said no he cuts them out. Then she said” I am going to ask you to leave.” I said why? I have not seen the doctor yet. She said that SHE was the manager and that I needed to leave. I said “I have other issues besides my tonsils.” She opened the door and said that if I did not leave immediately that she would call security and have me escorted out of the building, by force!

After investigation I found that my insurance does not generally approve this procedure, but they do when all the criteria is meet. What “Cindy” did not want to do is “The Work / Her Job” involved in helping me as a patient and clearly she is under instruction by Dr. Wayman to “Dismiss” patients that have my type of health coverage and are seeking a Tonsillectomy.

You Dr. Wayman, should be utterly ashamed of having such a rude and abrasive staff. There is no cause to treat anyone with such disrespect you took an oath to help people not threaten to have them removed from you office by force when they are there seeking your help. SHAME!

I have a good mind to sue you civilly for damages as I am sure I am not the only one who has experienced this – I have other names- and I see a class action heading your way. I am not sure I am going to recover from being so poorly treated when my expectation was your help.

Your no doctor, doctors care about people…

I had a referral sent over in July, exactly 1 month later I called to see what was happening, the office manager Cindy said to resend the referral and she would call me back. Another month went by and i called and they said they never received the referral and to send it AGAIN. So again it was sent. They didn't call me, but my referring Dr. to deny seeing me because I had been establish elsewhere, and they didn't DO second opinions. When I called to ask if there was any chance that the Dr. would see me, Cindy was so rude. I told her she didn't need to be so rude to me. She said she wasn't being rude but spoke to me like I wasn't worth the time and only said "The doctor denied the appointment." And kept repeating this when I asked other questions. I'm doubtful the Dr. even saw my chart. I think its unfortunate that she has to be so nasty to potential patients (and current patients from the sound of other reviews). I work in the medical field and would NEVER speak to people this way. It does make me wonder, if a Dr. would knowingly employ such a rude nasty staff, would I really want them as my physician? Dr. Wayman, your staff is the worst I've ever encountered and shame on you for condoning that behavior.
