This psychiatrist was extremely damaging to my healthcare. He was more concerned with prescribing meds than hearing anything about my background that had to do with the emotional distress I was suffering through. He did not demonstrate anything that let me believe he was listening. He just basically told me that I should be grateful that he found a medication that worked.

This DR was referred to me by another physician and absolutely is the type of doctor that really listens to what is happening in your life, the things that are affecting your quality of life and he is a doctor that I really felt cared for as he didn't just grab a prescription pad but listened to me then made a number of suggestions for non-medication ways of of helping my situation that all proved helpful for my circumstances. He was able to come up with a combination of meditation and medication that has gone along way to literally help me in the major problem areas of my life and did help me to be able to face and deal with my condition and the pain more productively. Dr Jacobson has been huge godsend for me. He was able to give me back my life emotionally which also gave me back a sense of confidence and he helped me to regain hope and direction. The medication he prescribed REPLACED 2 anti anxiety meds that were only working half as well as what Dr. Jacobson put me on which all alone was a huge improvement. He is a physician who "tells it like it is" and actually works WITH you and your other health care providers and at least for me, he's NOT left me feeling ignored like far too many doctors have. I'm grateful for the part of my life and the productivity he was able to give back to me. Trulyou a vanishing breed of kind smart and helpful physicians. Unfortunately, the health care system has lost far too many caring and competent physicians like him.

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance
