If you check the NV State Board of Medical Examiners with Joseph Watson, MD you will find he has many malpractice settlements listed. Honestly he should not be practicing medicine anywhere with the number of malpractice claims he has-the records are there. Be aware and do your research!!

I've been seeing Dr Watson for 17 years. He's always been kind and understanding as I have gone through the struggles of infertility which resulted in a full term beautiful baby. He was very attentive and his office staff over the years were always kind and sympathetic. I still continue to see him and trust only him with my gynecological needs. My only complaint, and it's not enough to make me lower my 5 star rating because the Dr deserves it, is that once I arrive in the office I have to wait at least 3- minutes in the waiting room after my appointment time. I understand because he gives his patients as much time as they need and explains everything thoroughly in a way you can understand. So, sometimes things take a little longer and can back up other appointments. I'm sure there have been plenty of times that his time with me has caused that for another patient.

I'm in my mid 40's and have been to many ob/gyn's in my lifetime and I've heard lots of bad reviews about Dr. Hughes bedside manner, but I don't know what the deal is. I've been in her office several times and SHE has never been anything but attentive and clear in her communication with me. She is direct and to the point and she listens to my concerns. I don't feel rushed and I certainly don't feel she is rude in any way. I wonder if some of those clients who are dissatisfied are looking for someone to make them feel warm and fuzzy--which isn't really the doctor's job. I will agree, however, that the office staff leaves a bit to be desired. They are just there to get you in and out, so don't expect them to be overly warm and inviting. They aren't.
