i had to get an implant due to a shattered upper tooth. My dentist, who is wonderful, referred me to Dr Cherney and said he was patient, gentle and thorough which, with my teeth, and this one in particular was needed. My dentist told me i would probably need grafts first.

On my consultation, which cost over 300, i felt like i was in one of those places that just push you through and my actual visit for the tooth removal only confirmed this.

Horrid horrid experience! not only did he shatter the tooth, not get it all out, but he perforated my sinus and ran out of the room and never answered a question!

when i was shown to the 'recovery area' for the doctor, I asked what can i eat, etc., and was told it was in the pamphlet - it was not! there was nothing in there about what to do after the first day. Then the doc never came back and i was sent home. And i have to say the lady assistance was as cold and rude as i have ever encountered - she has no business being in that position.

two weeks later i go in for stitch removal and loads of questions and they put me with a different doctor without telling me. He said no problem with eating anything i want (popcorn, blackberries - which i had eaten and could use a straw. I have a friend that had two implants and she could not use a straw or popcorn for 6 months. (also, the office staff said something completely different on what i should eat - so who was right and why was i told completely different things by the doctor and a nurse and what the nurse said mirrors what other sites indicated was normal care)

then he said my sinus was healed and i could blow, etc. i decided to research and found multiple sites that stated everything i was told was incorrect! it takes months for the sinus to heal and no berry, nuts or popcorn for 2-4 months!

my only explanation is laziness and the factory attitude combined with obvious money hungry let this place put me in a horrible situation

DO NOT GO HERE for dental implants!!!!

I was referred here by my trusted, longtime dentist. Dr. Hochstadter performed my consultation for a wisdom teeth extraction. He was professional and explained the procedure to me in-depth, touching on the details of the procedure itself and on the recovery process, making sure to answer any questions and concerns that I had.

On the date of the procedure, Dr. Pashley performed the wisdom teeth extraction. She was a consummate professional and I felt secure in her care. As the healing ran its course, I contacted the office and arranged a check-up. Dr. Pashley met with me again and assessed my healing progress.

CONCLUSION: I would recommend these surgeons based on their professionalism and on their responsiveness to patients' needs and concerns.

Dr. Isaacson told me I did not need any work done and so I trust him! He is the only oral surgeon that my extremely picky dentist totally loves to recommend. I can see why. He is experienced and knowledgeable and caring.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. My daughter had some problems after having her wisdom teeth out and they were extremely responsive and caring.

I become very anxious about dental work, perhaps even phobic. My dentist – a wonderfully gentle and caring man – spoke highly of this oral surgery practice for some extensive work I needed. He said they worked well with anxious patients like myself. My experience with them was entirely negative. After sitting in the waiting room for more than 50 minutes, I asked what was going on. They told me the doctor was running late. Uhm, with a patient who makes no secret of his anxiety, why not tell me when I came in (on time) or after a few minutes instead of letting me sit there. They have several signs on the wall explaining that dentists may run late due to emergencies, unforeseen circumstances and such, but that you will receive your full time and unhurried attention. Uh huh and there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The woman who did my x-rays was uncaring, impatient and rushed me through the process. The oral surgeon I saw didn’t strike me as caring and failed to even acknowledge a couple of my questions. My visit was abruptly terminated when an assistant popped her head in the door and, presumably, indicated that another patient awaited. Not a very comforting experience. The strangest thing, though, was the attention of the staff: they told me at least six times that payment would be due at the time of the procedure. Duh! No kidding? I’ve found another oral surgeon who is far more comfortable to deal with – and charges substantially less. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who suffers from anxiety when visiting the dentist: this is not a comforting or sympathetic environment.
