Love Dr. Afield and his staff. I spent all day in his office doing brain scans and brain mapping and was treated well. Very thorough and very precise . Would highly recommend

Was given this Dr. as a referal from our attorney. Called and spend 28 minutes on hold listening to funeral music. Receptionist kep returning and asking the same basic questions, who what when where etc... totatally clueless. Another 12 minutes passed and she returned to notify me that the good Dr. couldn't see anyone new until December. Today is Sept 3. I suggested she get a pen and start writing stuff down. Amazing. We'll keep looking.

Dr. Afield is an awesome professional. I was seen promptly. There was excellent follow-up. His staff bent over backwards to work with me when drafting an important report I needed. He willingly worked with my schedule, considering that I was an out-of-state patient. He is very intuitive and after evaluating my situation, he realized what my employer had done to me, and that their actions were baseless and unfounded. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor.

Dr Afield has diagnosed me as toxic to my partner, who is his patient. suffering from ptsd. all research i have done would indicate someone suffering from ptsd may have fears of becoming close to their partner and protect family and friends. therefor possibly not depicting the situation accurately in a meeting. i feel this would be unprofessional to diagnose someone without evaluating them in person his self, not very professional or smart in my opinion. just thought that might be a consideration when choosing your doctor. Specially, due to the fact im sure there are a lot of ptsd suffering people due to the close location to a AFB.

I think this Doctor is stuck in his ways of practicing medicine, when his particular treatment was not helping me, he made the comment that it may just be me resisting the treatment ! This guy is of the old guard who thinks in the old mold. There definitely wasn't anything displayed. They aren't known for being that good at what they do in my area, but they aren't known for being terrible either. They should probably work on improving their professional reputation. They seemed to know what they were talking about most of the time, but I still wasn't very comfortable. I would advise any Vets seeking outside treat ment from the VA to stay away from this DR>

One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. It is obvious that their office is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. I've already been recommending them to all my friends and family. I don't think there's a better psychiatrist out there.

It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. They are always prepared for my appointment and remember everything about me. One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help. They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here.
