I've been working with Howard for about a year, specifically on issues regarding my ADHD and relationship-management. He is well educated in psychotherapy and draws from extensive experience in the field, working to provide a variety of treatment approaches on issues/problems I have. It might sound odd to some that I've been working with Howard for over ten years. Most people go into therapy for shorter periods, addressing specific issues. However, bipolar disorder is never one specific issue. The difference between "I suffer from bipolar disorder" and, "I have bipolar disorder" not only changes your outlook, but how you live your life. Howard has given me the tools, like cognitive behavioral therapy, and a web of support ranging from my psychiatrist to my family which empowers me. Howards understanding of my specific needs, stressors or symptoms and, our "honesty pact" helps me thrive and grow in my intense career and everyday living. No one should have to suffer from this disorder. Reach out. Howard Wax has your back on this one!

Howard Wax is that hard-to-find, naturally intuitive therapist that we deserve. He understands the darkness that we are going through. Howard has a special way about him that is difficult to put into words. The other reviews describe his approach more clearly. When you spend time with him, you will understand.

We all NEED to read these reviews. Most therapists in this town are truly substandard. I found Howard Wax by chance. It shouldn’t be so hard for us to find effective therapy. Working with Howard has been helping me immensely.

Howard is one of the most caring human beings I have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know. His holistic approach to healing is both pragmatic and spiritual and he has a very generous heart. He has a way of bringing great comfort and warmth into the room and tackles difficult concepts and issues with such ease. He is the ultimate professional and is completely committed to the health and well being of his patients. Sometimes the work is hard, but in Howard's kind and gentle way - he guides you through the difficult and not so difficult times with grace and sensitivity.

Howard Wax is an outstanding therapist with decades of experience and true insight into to the very complicated world of human behavior. From my personal experience, the way Howard works with you should be a model of what a therapist should try to do do. Howard will engage-that is-this is psychotherapist who genuinely cares, is extremely intelligent and an active listener, and can and does provide the support, techniques and insight necessary for real personal improvement.
