I just visited a sports club by the name of PureFitness Carlsbad in, of course, Carlsbad California. This place is drop dead gorgeous. I was greeted at the front desk by a very charming woman with a smile that had me fill out a guest card and wait to see a member of the staff. I didn't mind waiting since I was treated like a distinguished guest. I was greeted by the General Manager, who you could tell was very experienced and again made me feel right at home. As he toured me through the facility explaining all of the amenities I was just in awe. He introduced me to some of the staff members and the first thought that came to mind was, finally a beautiful facility with educated people to match. When we sat at his desk to go over the different levels of membership my options were crystal clear and I decided to go with the Platinum membership. After purchasing my membership I sat and chatted for a minute and not once did I ever feel as though I was being rushed out the door, like I have at other facilities. As I was driving away I truly felt lucky that I happen to live right near this amazing place and I couldn't wait to return. I used to own four health clubs in the greater New York area so I know a top notch club when I see one, but to have the best of both worlds (club & staff to boot)...outstanding

Before I took a tour at PureFitness I read the reviews on this site. I don't believe everything I hear nor do I believe every I read. The club is gorgeous, the staff seemed really friendly. My pet peeve at a club is the cleanliness. This place is very clean! I joined and I love it!

I really enjoy this club. You don't wait for anything and everyone really seems nice. I really like the private lady's workout area for my wife and the indoor and outdoor pools are great.. Oh, she also Zumba.What a workout.

I have been a member for 3 years and water dance has been good for my joints and spirit. I have now moved to yoga at night and would hope there would still be a dance aqua in the evenings. I work during the day and distressing is the doctor’s orders. Thank you for a gental yoga tues. Evenings and dance aqua Thursday evenings.

My experience has been extremely positive. I really appreciate how clean the gym is kept. Also, it is great having such a wide array of great cardio equipment from which to choose

I can't thank you enough for your daycare. Seriously, I had tried for years at the Pacific Athletic Club to leave my daughter Haley. I was always paged to come and get her sobbing hysterically. Now, she asks to go to the gym. I can't tell you how PARAMOUNT this is to my existence. THANK YOU MEGAN, ASHLEY, KATERINA AND JESSICA!!!!!!!!!!!‎
