Dr Julia Lee is living the American dream. Having immigrated to Houston, TX, from South Korea at age 13, she went on to graduate from medical school in the top 5% of her class. Her interest in OB-GYN stems from her mother having home births for her nine children. Dr Lee remembers seeing a sister born and being in awe. With more than 25 years of experience, Dr Lee sees adolescents and adults for the full spectrum of women's healthcare. She is particularly interested in high-risk obstetrics, obstetric emergencies and gynecologic surgery. Dr Lee performed the first robotic surgery at Mercy Fairfield Hospital and has proctored other surgeons in the use of the robot.
