Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Medicine has always been an integral part of my family from a young age. My mother and grandmother pursued careers in the medical field providing me with opportunities to ask questions and spark an interest from a young age. In addition, I chose the medical field in hopes to improve the healthcare system as a whole, while also engaging in active patient care to give back to the community and people that raised me. What I want my patients to know about me: I aspire to be a medical professional that patients feel comfortable confiding in with their needs. I plan to provide the highest level of care within my scope of practice for my patients.
