When my parent's long-time general physician passed away, they transferred their care to Dr. Schwarm. My mother had an appointment with him March 31st to establish contact. My parents were pleased with him, his demeanor and attentiveness.
Fast forward to July 14th when two of my mother’s prescriptions were needing renewed. It took 12 days, multiple phone calls, MyChart messages, my father physically going to the office four times to inquire about getting the prescriptions, before finally getting them signed off on and called into the pharmacy. This was all on Dr. Schwarm. The office staff and nurses did all they could to try to help us. They left the information on his desk, spoke with him, in person, and left computer messages. No one could give us explanation for his delay in him signing his name to renew the cough medicine and diabetic sensors my mother needed. Bottom line, Dr. Schwarm just didn’t do his job.
My 80-year old parents should not have had to deal with the stress and anxiety this caused. Needless to say, Dr. Schwarm will no longer be their physician.
