About

Fabian Arnaldo

Since high school, Dr. Arnaldo knew where his career-path would lead him. "After my first steps into human physiology and biology, I knew I would dedicate long years to the subject of medicine." Ultimately, he chose the specific area of Cardiac Electrophysiology.

He describes it as one of the most challenging and forward-thinking fields in cardiology. "It’s the perfect crossroad between cardiac science and engineering, applied to the care of our patients," he explains. "In my everyday life, I take complex medical knowledge and apply it to patients with heart rhythm problems. Through specific techniques and studies, I am able to help people live longer, improving their quality of life."

Dr. Arnaldo chose Beacon because of its patient-centric philosophy. He notes, "Care organizations that are able to join forces with physicians in patient care are the most successful and have the highest patient satisfaction." It’s a philosophy he believes in when it comes to his own patients. "First and foremost, I want them to know that I take them very seriously and practice strong, evidence-based medicine – I take the time to listen and talk to them, so they understand the clinical reason and benefit for everything I do. I also try to teach them how important it is for them to take an active role and be accountable for their own health."

Dr. Arnaldo completed his medical education at School of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires. He is board certified in Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

In his own words…

Who is or was the most influential person/role model in your life? My father. He quietly taught me about work ethics, honesty and integrity.

What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it? I worked my first summer job with my uncle Francisco. I was the office boy, errand boy and all-time youngest employee. It was my first life lesson in office politics.

What is your favorite food? Movie? Nothing beats a country-style Milanese made by Italian immigrants. I can’t decide whether my favorite movie is Apocalypse Now or Goodfellas.

If you could sit down to dinner with anyone (alive or deceased) who would it be and why? August Rodin. He was one of the greatest sculptors of all time.

In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? What are your hobbies, interests? I’m a diehard soccer fan, a mild runner and a high intensity interval training enthusiast.

What is something most people don’t know about you? I am a perennial amateur sculptor. Forms, shapes, space and planes are always in my head.
