Johns Hopkins Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Johns Hopkins Health Care & Surgery Center in Bethesda, Maryland evaluates and treats a wide variety of problems, including asthma, acute and chronic pulmonary infections, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, sleep-disordered breathing, chronic cough, cystic fibrosis, dysfunctional swallowing, end-stage lung disease, interstitial lung diseases, lung failure and breathing abnormalities. Our mission is to improve the health of children with respiratory disorders by providing exemplary patient- and family-centered care, performing research to understand the mechanisms of disease and developing new therapies.
