I have a problem with front doors being locked at 4:00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and having to park at the ER parking lot, when most times there are NO parking spaces available. Disabled people are not able to park in the front parking area when the front doors are locked and walk around to the ER. Also, volunteers are badly needed in order to show visitors where to go. Very little is properly marked. I was also told that only one person works in the kitchen, and many times only one person is working at the desk in the ER. If that person is showing patients to a room or taking them back from the waiting room into the ER, a person can wait a good while until that ER person comes back to the desk. Everyone I encountered there from the nurses station to the security guards are extremely nice and helpful. However, since I was told that groundbreaking for the new hospital will be this December and completion of hospital will take two years, I think things should be changed for the better for the next two years. I am told it is a lack of money, which is usually a standard excuse for most everything these days; however, I am sure there is help somewhere. I know that Catoosa County is funneling much of our tax money to help out, but we cannot afford anymore either. Thank you and have a Blessed Day.
