He has expertise and clinical interests in minimally invasive endoscopic brain and spine surgery. In 2001, he received the Mahaley Clinical Research Award from the AANS/CNS Section on Tumors.

Dr. Jho received his medical degree from Chonnam National University Medical School in Gwangju, South Korea. He completed an internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He speaks English and Korean.
