Our caregivers are all screened through the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services Employee Misconduct Registry and Nurses Aid Registry. Additionally we also check over 300 national databases for the following: No criminal background, No felonies, Current Driver’s License and clean driving record, National Sex offender registry (no offenses.)
Also we check a minimum of three references on each caregiver.
At Ashby, we screen heavily for the following: Punctuality, manner of speech, professionalism, Personal presentation, communication abilities (all caregivers are required to read, speak and write in English. They must complete their application in English to ensure their complete understanding of the English language. Again, only the best of the best get through our screening process!
