Canaan Home Care has been a leader in bringing the best standards to the industry. The caregivers are our employees and are bonded and insured. They have passed a stringent screening process, including a background check, a minimum of (2) professional and (2) personal reference checks, TB and physical clearance, behavioral interviewing and a Canaan Home Care caregiver test. We only refer about 5% of the caregivers that contact us.
Our services include Personal Care, Personal Assistance, Homemaking, and Companionship Services and all are covered under our standard rate of $18.50 / hour for companion, $22.00/hour for caregiver or $250/ day for 24 hour live-in.
We are members of CAHSAH.
We are the only organization that I am aware of that discloses its financial data and the only that funds, from profits and charitable contributions, a non-profit foundation.
Once you contact Canaan Home Care you will receive the dedicated attention of both a care coordinator, who will determine your care needs, and a professional caregiver. The care coordinator will conduct quarterly home visits and weekly phone calls to all clients for no extra fee.
