Dr. Rush offers specialized spinal care which treated my back pain very differently than previous chiropractors. After seeing Xrays, Dr. Rush thoroughly explained how misalignment at the base of my skull from a car accident 40 years ago could go undetected and cause problems years later. I can now understand how my previous chiropractors attempted to alleviate my back pain by moving the lower areas of my spine that looked out of alignment on their Xrays through twisting and jerking my spine, but the pain returned because they never addressed the CAUSE of the problem which was due to the misalignment at the base of my skull. Under Dr. Rush’s specialized care, in my case, I was pain free within a few months. Plus, he never hurt me... there’s NO twisting or jerking! Dr. Rush also enjoys taking time to explain his treatment because he had been teaching this specialized upper cervical spinal care at our local Chiropractic College for over 30 years. He’s retired from teaching now and he and his wife/assistant Vikki maintain his private practice and immaculately clean office. They are very friendly and caring. Their appointments are very well scheduled with very little to NO WAIT TIME. I wondered why the practice is named Bear Country Chiropractic? You will find Dr. Rush has used chainsaws to carve out large tree stumps, and his bears decorate the entrance to his building and waiting room. If you have children, they will enjoy the visit too!
