Now, well over 20 years later, Fairland Animal Hospital continues to specialize in small animal medicine and care and continues to thrive and grow! The beginnings of one doctor and one staff member serving a thousand or so active clients has grown into a staff of two full-time doctors, four techncians and three receptionists who serve more than five thousand clients and their pets! And the growth continues......Fairland Animal Hospital will be bigger, physically! In March of 2013 a ground breaking ceremony will take place one mile north on Old Columbia Pike!! The success of the practice is due to the high quality veterinary services but also to the atmosphere that the hospital staff creates. When you come in and meet the hospital staff, you will meet a “family” of dedicated people who are compassionate about the care of you and your pets. A little history… Fairland Animal Hospital, Inc. is owned by Dr. Jeffrey D. Whall and his wife, Maggie. They purchased the practice in 1989 from Dr. Leonard Hollander. In addition to starting their own business the Whalls became an instant family of five when Maggie gave birth to the triplets, Daniel, Kelly and Thomas.
