This is for the south location!!!!

DON"T EVER, IN AND EMERGENCY WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE OR DR. TAWNEY. At 6am my nine year old Rottie was having a stroke so I rush him over to the place (it was recommended by a friend). I get there about 15 to 7 and tell the girl at the counter that my dog Jojo was having a stroke and I need help to bring him in as he is a big 173 lbs health big not fat big boy. The girl grabs a stretcher and tells me she'll have the teach Nick come help me get him in. Nick gets to my car door I open it, he takes one look at Jojo and closes the door and says "we're closed" you'll have to take him to the vet across the street. So I rush over there to find out that their Dr. isn't in until 9 so back to the crappy place I go. This time it's 3 minutes after 7 and the Dr. "Dr. Tawney" is standing in the door way of a exam room and yells at me "We're checking out patients" I say I know and I have a dog that is having a stroke and your turning me away!!! Her next words will stick with me forever!!! Will it's now like we could save him in five minutes WTF is she a Dr does their pamphlet mean anything Right on the front is says (Special Care for Special Pets) thank god she wasn't my mom's or my Dr. Oh they closed at 7 and because I was there at 15 til they didn't have time!!! Now 45 min later I get him to a real vet and yes he was stroking out and he may not make it. I pray that poeple read this and don't waste the time with this place. Trust I plan on posting this everwhere and making up flyers no one should every have to go through this.
Jim big dog lover unlike this place!!!

Stay clear of this hospital in south Austin. It was devastating enough to have to take our beloved dog to their hospital, but then the exorbitant rates that they charge and the horrible attitude of most of the staff. The veterinarian was heartless and it was obvious that she was simply trying to earn more money for the clinic regardless of the situation. She played on my husband's sympathy and convinced him that there was hope and keep the dog alive a few more hours and $1200 later we still had to have him put to sleep. She should be ashamed of herself, the heartless, money grubbing excuse of a vet..
