About
Nina holds Doctorate in Psychoanalysis from Newport Psychoanalytic Institute, and a Masters of Arts in Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute, graduating with Honors. She received her B.A. degree from the University of California, Davis. She served seven terms as Co-President of the AEL (Alpha Epsilon Lambda) Honor Society. Her article on women and intimacy was published in the Progress Journal, a national psychology publication.
Dr. Nina has extensive experience treating eating disorders in women and men of all ages. Prior to opening her private practice, she held a position as senior staff therapist at an intensive outpatient program for eating disorders, and completed a three-year internship in the psychoanalytic treatment of eating disorders. In addition to facilitating a weekly eating disorder group, she serves as an ANAD community resource leader.

Dr. Nina Savelle-Rocklin, Psy.D. is a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist (California License MFC43526) whose private practice is located in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area. Nina's personal experience with an eating disorder gives her a unique understanding of what it's like to struggle with this issue, and she knows that recovery is possible.
