Catherine Riggs-Bergesen, Psy.D.

We offer specialized counseling for pre/post bariatric surgery, depression, anxiety/stress, anger management, grief, loss, illness, alcoholism, eating disorders, incest and sexual abuse survivors, strategies for coping and communication.

Our facility is handicap accessible as well.
Dr. Riggs-Bergesen accepts insurance.

We offer therapy for

INDIVIDUALS (covering all areas),

COUPLES (to help improve communication and problem solving skills. We explore making constructive decisions about their relationship and help couples and individuals deal with staying together, separating, or divorcing),

FAMILIES (to assist family members with the task of jointly resolving problems so that the family as a whole can grow),

and GROUPS (now forming, are on bariatric surgery, Lyme Disease, Loss, and Love Relationships.)

Services JUDI S. LYNCH, M.A., DIRECTOR
A graduate of SUNY New Paltz Psychological Counseling Graduate Division, Specialties include pre/post bariatric surgery (psychological evaluations/support groups), eating disorders, depression, adolescent issues, grief counseling, and surviving the loss of a child. Works with individuals couples, adolescents, families, and groups.

RICK SCOTT, M.A.
A graduate of Marist College with a Masters degree in Community and Counseling Psychology. Over 20 years experience in treating a wide range of problems using Cognitive-Behavioral techniques. Specialties include depression, couples counseling, and anger management. Works with individuals, couples, adolescents, and groups.

RICHARD BRONDSKY, L.C.S.W.
Graduate of Hunter College School of Social Work. Over 20 years of experience treating a wide range of problems and psychiatric disorders. Specialties include depression, anxiety, anger management, relapse prevention and is DMV approved for evaluations. Works with individuals and couples.

CATHERINE RIGGS-BERGESEN, PSY.D.
A graduate of Yeshiva University and Licensed Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Specialties include death and dying, stress, artistic blocks, gay issues, depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, strategies for coping and communication. Works with adolescents, adults, individuals, and couples. Accepts insurance in-network for MVP, GHI, and more and works with insurance for other companies out of network.
