Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy:
Lily is certified under Erik Dalton, Ph.D. in his bodywork method, Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy. The focus of this work is to break the pain/ spasm/ pain cycles using therapeutic muscle balancing routines with unique joint-capsule maneuvers.
Deep Tissue/Connective Tissue Massage:
Deep Tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscles and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on releasing chronic tension, increasing ease of movement and improving posture.
Trigger Point Therapy:
A trigger point is a knot in the muscle that can refer sensations to another area of the body. For example, a trigger point in the neck area can cause headaches. Trigger points can cause symptoms of pain, burning, numbness, tingling, weakness, or swelling in the body. This therapy deactivates the trigger point with sustained pressure and other techniques.
Swedish Massage:
This is the most common type of massage. It promotes relaxation and eases muscular tension though a combination of gliding strokes, kneading, friction, stretching and tapping.
