I am a therapist since 1974 helping individuals,couples, and families, children, adolescents and adults to improve their lives and relationships with others. I have a general practice, which includes: Anxiety, and Depression in adults and children; Attention Deficit Disorder in Children, Adolescents and Adults,Collaborative Divorce and Mediation,Fertility Problems; Bulimia and Compulsive Overeating; Panic Attacks; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Anxiety; and Stress Management. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work, and I was trained and certified as a Marriage and Family Therapist at Ackerman Institute for the Family, which is a world renowned training institute in New York City. I am also very active in animal rescue and have been a volunteer for Wag On Inn Rescue, Monmouth County since 2002. I have day and evening appointments Monday through Thursday and return my confidential calls within 24 hours, 7 days per week. I look forward to helping you effectively change. My approach to treatment is a Systems Theory orientation, looking at the individual in relation to the world that she or he interacts in and I am an active listener in the sessions. My clients often comment that they feel relaxed and at ease with my style, which is both professional and humanistic. I am looking to start a parenting group for parents who have children with Attention Deficit and I am looking to start a Women's Group to meet in the mornings on Thursdays.
