Dr. Jones graduated from The New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1974 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He gained practical experience working at Trenton Veterinary Hospital, Westcott Hospital for Animals and Donaldson Animal Clinic. He founded Spring Hill Veterinary Hospital in Rochester, Michigan which he later sold. He founded Commerce Animal Hospital in 1990.
Dr. Jones is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. His special veterinary interests include dermatology and cardiology. Outside of the practice he enjoys running, golf, chess, and hiking and traveling with his wife Janice.
Dr. Jones grew up on a farm and likes dogs and cats equally well. He currently has a cat named Becky.
