Todd Sawisch, D.D.S., earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. He completed a surgical residency program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Miami School of Medicines prestigious Jackson Memorial Hospital.
During his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Dr. Sawisch spent four passionate years working with world-renowned surgeons Dr. Robert Marx, Dr. Stuart Kline, and Dr. Eric Carlson in the specialty of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The specialized training focused on head and neck cancer, tumor surgery, and reconstruction of severe facial deformities, secondary to disease and facial trauma. Dr. Sawisch also has extensive training in implant dentistry using platelet-rich growth factors (PRGF) with advanced bone grafting procedures to aid in dental implant reconstruction. Dr. Sawisch was awarded the Outstanding Surgical Skills Award by the surgical faculty upon graduation.
