I went one time with a specific request to have the dark hair that was growing on my head colored to match my blonde hair. I specifically told her that I wanted all of my hair that shade of blonde. I DID NOT ASK FOR HIGHLIGHTS. She claimed I did and lied straight to my face and my mother's face when we went to confront her later. The owner, who goes by NANCY, did my hair (she won't let ANY employee color except her, and she locks up the chemicals and has a VISIBLE sign stating "ROSA MAY NOT COME IN HERE. SUE MAY NOT COME IN HERE," etc. with multiple names. Highly unprofessional. She ended up absolutely frying my hair, it was falling out in handfuls, she butchered it by chopping off way too much, and she left my entire hair dark except for the top layer that she foiled blonde partially with STRAIGHT BLEACH. She left almost an inch of the dark growth on top, didn't color my sideburn area or the front hairs that frame my face. She did not even attempt to use toner. She sent me home with a wet head with absolutely no styling product, such as a leave-in conditioner, on it. She was rude to me the entire time. Her shop was disgusting. There were oranges on a Buddha alter and there was a huge line of ants eating the oranges and stretching across the store. I was killing ants on my jeans as I was sitting in the chair! I mentioned it to her and she just sniffed her nose and ignored me even more. She was HORRIBLE. I came back the next day with my Mom and she wasn't there. We came back the next day and she straight out lied to my mother and said that I asked for highlights. She lied about multiple things, including the prices she had quoted me. I showed her my hair, with all the disgusting dark roots underneath the WHITE now bleached hair. She said I asked for it like that. HAH! WHAAAT??? Only a moron would believe that. She wouldn't even apologize, and refused to refund my money. I will be making a filing in small claims court against her. (She messed with a family of Attorneys... wrong choice!) She damaged my hair so much that I am going to have to pay a lot of money to get it fixed, if it's even fixable. She damaged the hair so badly that it may take years to grow it back healthy. She also did my eyebrows without me asking her to and then CHARGED ME $8 for it! I was so pissed by then that I paid it and then left to go home to dry my hair and see the damage. (I couldn't tell how bad it was until I got home and dried it.) I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT NOT NOT recommend this awful establishment. Nancy runs it with an iron fist (her employee turnover is ridiculous b/c she is so nasty to them (I know someone who has been going there for a while and she told me that).
