About

Janet Martin

Our Lady of Angels is committed to the healing mission of Jesus by providing holistic quality care for retired and infirm persons within a loving and life giving setting. We are a premier Independent/Assisted & Nursing Community, providing value-based services to all residents, enhancing their quality of life. Our community of care is growing and extending into our surrounding locale to provide services and enrichment to elders, with special sensitivity to poor elders.

Our Lady of Angels was founded in 1962 by the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, as a safe haven for the seniors of the Joliet Community. Our Lady of Angels has developed it's nursing and dietary programs to accommodate a myriad of conditions and special needs,we have instated a Medicare certified therapy program and extended its nursing services to 24 hour availability of care. Following the mission of the founding Sisters, Our Lady of Angels has evolved into a complete Continuum of Care, and is one of the only establishments in the Joliet Area to offer all of the following, under one roof; Independent Living, Assisted Living, Intermediate Nursing Care, Respite Care, Skilled Nursing Care and Short Term Rehab.

At OLA, one of our most significant objectives is to provide individualized care for each resident as his or her level of need changes. Imagine never having to leave the comfort of your home, whether you or your loved one need assistance with feeding, dressing, bathing, grooming, transferring or are completely independent. The love and services provided, each day, by our dedicated staff has credited OLA with the only 5 star rating in Will County.

While Our Lady of Angels has always taken pride in the care provided, we are always looking for ways to improve ourself, and create a more loving, home-environment for each and every resident. Our mission is, not only to service, but to be sensitive to the ever-changing needs of our community.
