EVERYONE on a cellphone TEXTING!!! Director of Nursing NEVER comes out her office...Schedule person has about 6 family members who work there, ALOT of nepotism...not to mention covering up everything...Nurses handing meds to unlicensed staff to hand out to residents...some residents laying in bed for 15-20 hours a day. They lie about everything to their advantage and mislead families with false promises. Residents falling because of lack of staff and staff not doing there job. 48 residents on one floor and four LNA's expected to take care of them. At change of shifts 20 something residents laying in urine or feces. I wouldn't put my dog there.

My mother was there for many months, the floor staff and nurses were great. The problem started when she took a turn for the worst and needed life support decisions made. The adminstration and my family were on different pages on how to attack this problem. My mother's condition worsened and she needed to be hospitilized. She was taken to a local hospital and told that she was no longer welcome back to Maple Wood. Her health was so bad she was deemed unable to make decisions herself by the their house MD. Think about it they deem her not capable of making decisions and they tell her she is homeless when she in in the hospital. Were was the caring for seniors that they should have more than anybody I was told the news by a staff member of the hospital.

Talk about not having a HEART.


You should think long and hard before you put your loved one there.
