I had an office visit for tinnitus, which had gotten worse in a short period of time, to get a prescription for CPAP masks, and to have my turbinates checked. I was not seen by anyone for well over an hour past my appointment time. I was billed $178.69 for the office visit for for about a three minute conversation with the doctor. Was also charged 132.36 for the hearing test, which added up to $311.05, of which I am responsible for 100% of, until I meet my huge health insurance deductible.

The doctor was not very attentive, and really just seemed to want to write me a prescription and push me out the door. I had to have him called back into the room to get the CPAP supplies prescription. He seemed like he was in a huge hurry, and didn't really explain anything.

From 6/16 until 6/28, I tried to get a refill on the medicine that was prescribed. After multiple calls, I was finally told that I needed to be seen again to get a refill, after being seen only a month ago.

On approximately 6/16/2021, I submitted a prescription refill request on mywvuchart.com. After hearing nothing back for a week, I called the office on 6/22/2021. The receptionist told me they put the prescription request in to the doctor. After not hearing anything for a few days, I called back on 6/24/2021. I was told the prescription had been sent to the doctor on 6/22.

On 6/28, after still not hearing anything, I called back. After being placed on hold by the receptionist for a while, she came back and told me I was have to be seen by the doctor, again, to refill the prescription. The nurse said that she tried to call me, but was not able to reach me. I did not have any missed calls or voice mails from WVU ENT. It's possible the number could have shown up as Potential Spam on my phone, if it wasn't from a number I had associated with WVU ENT, so I won't attach malicious intent to what she said.

I cannot afford to spend $178.69/month, plus the price of of the prescription, every month, so I will just have to go without the medicine. I wish I would have spent my $311.05 elsewhere, with a more attentive doctor, who took the time to explain my condition and the available treatments better. I will definitely not be returning to this doctor.

I know that they have a lot of clients here so I understand that they many not remember my name every time, but I am always really impressed when I walk in the door and am greeted by name. They always try to make the effort and for this I am grateful. I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. They have really great customer service here. They always put their customers first, regardless of the situation. They diagnosed my condition very quickly. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything. I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. The doctor and staff made every effort to make me feel welcome. They are friendly and nice.
