Dr. Reginald Rice, MD has been in practice in El Dorado county for over 15 years and has performed thousands of cosmetic procedures enhancing his patient's self image and beauty. Coming from a family of artists, he thoroughly enjoys the creative and artistic nature of cosmetic surgery and brings a combination of precision, compassion, and technology to every patient he sees. He has had advanced training and extensive experience in minimally invasive facelifting and laser resurfacing techniques. He is known for his approach to facial rejuvenation resulting in natural appearing facelifts, blepharoplasty (eyelid tucks), chin and cheek augmentation (using the patient's own fat or with implants), and skin rejuvenation using laser techniques. He has done thousands of facial enhancements using soft tissue fillers such as Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Hydrelle, Elevess, Artefill, and Radiesse. He feels that the non-surgical techniques are often dismissed in favor of the surgical by many his plastic surgical colleagues, and as such, he does all of his patients injectional therapies himself, finding them powerful, effective, and more readily accepted tools to enhance his patients beauty. He also enjoys applying artistic skill to to reshaping his patient's bodies with liposculpture. He helps his patients get rid of stubborn, problem areas using tumescent, power-assisted liposuction technology can make liposuction a walk-in, walk-out procedure.
