I was seen by Dr. Anne R. Uyei in Dec 2006. I was treated for cancer 5 years prior to visit and wanted to complete a regular check up, to make sure the cancer has not returned. At the time of the visit I was told all the test analysis (blood check,MRI...etc) will be free of charge and all I have to pay is 20$ co-payment for doc visit.So I agreed to do all of them although I knew the MRI can cost a small fortune.Not just that I paid additional money for the visit , but I ended up paying about 800$ for the MRI test and 150$ for the blood test.My insurance didn't cover everything and I was hit with all the bills because doctors office failed to do their job properly."Mistakes" happen and the first part of the review wasn't the reason I sat down to warn other people who are they dealing with. A few days ago I needed my prescription filled.I'vr been taking the same medicine for 8 years now, the same amount.I never had problems obtaining the prescription from other doctors prior to visiting Dr Anne R. Uyei's office.Now that I am out of a job and no medical insurance Dr. Anne R. Uyei requested that I make an appt to see her if I want the prescription to be filled.I told her that times when I could afford a visit (it costs 400$ to spend 5-10 minutes with her) on seeing her and pay up for all the consequential mistakes are gone and that I would appreciate if she can just sign the prescription so we can all be happy.Of course this didn't happen and it left me scrambling to find another doctor to fill this out for me.I was suppose to take the medication a week ago and I am still without it.Some people become doctors not to help people but to get rich.
