Dr. John S. Whorff, OD, earned the degree of Doctor of Optometry from the oldest optometry school in the country, the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from California State University, Stanislaus and earned his Ph.D. in Zoology in 1992 from Texas A&M University. At his lab in the Biology Department at College Station, he obtained significant funding from Mobil Oil and the state of Texas to develop imaging software and published several academic papers.

Beyond exceptional. I'm 86 years old, have been to a great many doctors in my lifetime but none have shown the care and attention received at this facility. His assistant, Sephanie (spelling?) is brilliant. She is a major contributor to the overall success of this business.

Hands down, the finest, most attentive service I have ever experienced. Dr. Whorff will spend whatever time you need to answer any related questions....and then some! Supported by a professional staff that genuinely care that you are satisfied with their service. Definitely NOT a puppy-mill operation, no quick-in-quick-out operation. Well worth driving from a distant city to get truly hands-on service.
