I do not recommend Dr Higbee. I had a cavitiy filled there yesterday and had an awful experience. He gave me so much Novocaine that my eye could not blink and I could not keep it shut without holding it closed. Not only did I have the enjoyment of getting my tooth drilled but my eye was burning and strained the whole time. He and his staff was unapologetic and acted like I was an idiot and that this was a normal amount of Novocaine. They excepted me to drive home(20 miles) while I held one of my eyes shut. One of the dental asst. then took scotch tape and a 2X2 and tried to tape it shut which did not work. I had to sit in the office for an hour holding my eye shut until the medicine wore off.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST!

I have moved many times, and consequently I have had to find many new dentists. I can honestly say that Dr. Justin Higbee was one of the friendliest, accommodating, and gentlest dentists I have ever been to.

Justin and his assistant went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I have TMJ, which makes hour-long dental appointments rather painful. Usually I have to ask the dentist if I can close my mouth for a few minutes so that I can rest my jaw. Not only did I not have to ask Dr Higbee to do so, he actually paused and suggested I take a break. At no point did I feel pressured into toughing it out so that Dr Higbee could rush off to another patient--which is what usually happens.

Also, Dr Higbee worked patiently and carefully to make sure my bite wasn't off after fixing a loose filling that had never fit right, and done by a different dentist. He made no comment about the other doctor's work, but rather made sure that the filling felt better than when I arrived. I had never had a dentist have me bite and then adjust the filling so many times, it was really exceptional service.

At no point did I ever feel pressured into purchasing dental work that I didn't feel was necessary. In fact, Dr Higbee was really positive and complimented me about my teeth and how I care for them.

Their office was new, clean and full of brand new machines and supplies. The entire office greets you with big, nice smiles. It is clear that dental hygiene is a top priority for the entire staff. Their office is easy to find and has parking right in front. Also, I didn't have to wait at all. I usually arrive 15 minutes early, but Dr Higbee's assistant started working on me immediately, which was nice.
