Lauren Sand
Dallas native, Lauren Sand, MD, is a board eligible neurosurgeon who practices at the Methodist Moody Brain and Spine Institute on the campuses of Methodist Richardson Medical Center Methodist Dallas Medical Center. She is the only female, Ivy League educated neurosurgeon in the Dallas Area. Dr Sand grew up in Dallas attending Ursuline Academy and attended the University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree. She then earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University. Dr Sand served as Chief Resident during her Residency in Neurological Surgery through the University of Minnesota, where she also pursued specialized training through a Fellowship in Neurointensive Care.
