Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I had always enjoyed science classes in school. After a shadowing program in high school when I spent a day following a physician in his office, I became convinced that a career as a physician was what I wanted to do. As a practicing physician, I am able to apply the science I have learned in a hands-on environment. The decision to pursue a career in orthopedic surgery has allowed me to utilize my education and training in a way that can change my patients' lives for the better. What I want my patients to know about me: I am privileged to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who are committed to helping patients achieve their goals.
